"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Squarepants of course!"
Spongebob has a dream of becoming the manager of the new restaurant, The Krusty Krab 2. At the opening though, Spongebob is denied the promotion and it is instead given to Squidward. Mr. Krabs says that Squidward is more mature and that he is just a kid. Plankton, Mr. Krabs rival, makes a plot to steal the Krabby Patty formula. He steal King Neptune’s crown and frames Mr. Krabs. Neptune gives Spongebob six days to find his missing crown or Mr. Krabs will be destroyed. Plankton steals the Krabby Patty formula and starts selling them, saying Mr. Krabs willed him to do so. He also sends a hitman to stop Spongebob and Patrick named Dennis. Squidward, meanwhile, uncovers the truth about Plankton and attempts to alert King Neptune. Plankton has been giving out free bucket hats to everyone who buys a Krabby Patty and when Squidward tries to stop him, Plankton turns them into mind-controlling devices. Now controlling the citizens of Bikini Bottom, he renames the city, Planktopotis. Mindy (King Neptune’s daughter) uses ‘Mermaid Magic’ to make Spongebob and Patrick grow ‘mustaches’, claiming they are men so they can go on. They meet Dennis on the other side of the trench and Dennis rips off their ‘mustaches’(seaweed) and shows that they are not really men. Dennis is about to squash them when another bigger foot squashes him, the Cyclops. The Cyclops grabs Spongebob and Patrick and takes them to his store which is in fact Shell City. They find the crown and after losing their way home, Dived Hasselhoff gives them a tow to the city. At the Krusty Krab, Neptune arrives to finish off Mr. Krabs. In the nick of time, Spongebob and Patrick return with the crown, saves Krabs and confronts Plankton. Spongebob frees the citizens of Bikini Bottom using the Goofy Goober theme song. Plankton is arrested and Mr. Krabs graciously give the manager position to Spongebob.
I liked everything in this movie, from the jokes and tunes to the way Spongebob accepts himself to being a kid. In my eyes there is no bad things to say as in is just a classic Spongebob movie. I haven’t watched it in years and I now wish I had watch it more as it brings back great memories. The tunes are very catchy and easy to sing along to and the jokes are easy to pick up on. In the end it is a great movie that shows the meaning of friendship and that it is okay to be a little immature and be a kid.

Deep Red(Profondo Rosso) 1975
"Violent, visceral fun!"
Directed by: Dario Argento
Written by: Dario Argento and Bernardino Zapponi
Staring: David Hemmings, Daria Nicolodi and Gabriel Lavia
Matty's Review:
'Deep Red' is one of the most successful horror efforts from the horror maestro mastermind Dario Argento. Dario's film debut 'The Bird With The Crystal Plumage' was a
massive success and, earned the title "The film that out psycho'd Psycho". Followed by his second terrifying film 'Cato o' Nine Tails', Dario Argento was beginning to make
a name for himself in the horror and thriller genre, much like Hitchcock. 'Deep Red' was his biggest film accomplishment before the 1977 classic 'Suspiria'.
'Deep Red' starts with a horrifying shot of an excessive stabbing depicted by the shadowy silhouettes of the unknown victim and perpetrator. Then we appear in a large beautiful bright red hall, were a woman claims she can read the thoughts of people through telepathy, but she read the mind of someone she shouldn't of. She begins to seizure due to the
sheer brutality of the thoughts she reads. Later at her hotel she writes down the thoughts heard at the hall. Then with the haunting sound of a child's lullaby, she is brutally slain by a mysterious figure in a black hat and brown raincoat. Luckily her death was witnessed by an American Pianist named Marcus Daly who was in the area with his drunk friend Carlo. Now that's a way to start a film!Rushing to the hotel where he spotted the murder, Marcus arrives to find the mutilated, throat cut corpse of the psychic, but he swears something isn't right.
A painting from the scene is missing, a painting Marcus positively saw. Then Gianna Brezzi, a young journalist shows up to investigate the scene. From here on the movie centers on Gianna and Marcus attempting to investigate the ravenous murders.
I knew this film was going to be great, evident by it's 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Not only is this movie entertaining. It's just an amazing mix of gore, kinetic camera work, mystery and style all led by a compelling story and great direction. This is officially one of the greatest films I've ever seen! It's not just mindless gore or cheap thrills, it's got a great engaging story and keeps you on edge even in the dialogue driven scenes.
if you like Hitchcock films, you will love this to. This movie has way more to it then I could ever explain in this review. My recommendation is to go out and give it a rent. Don't expect a run of the mill horror film, 'Deep Red' is far superior. With a great twist ending and many memorable scenes, 'Deep Red' will not be an afterthought. It's a smart and memorable film with every horror element you could wish for. It just proves that Italian/European films always stay the most original and stylish. I give 'Deep Red' a 10/10. I can't flaw the film, I enjoyed it that much.
